This is the official website of the 47 Royal Marine Commando Association, and is dedicated to the men of 47 Royal Marine Commando, who made their own personal sacrifices to free the world of tyranny in World War II. From their training in Scotland, to the liberation of Nazi occupied Europe.
They are all part of the greatest generation, true heroes of the 20th century!

 My name is Marc de Bolster, and have been an Association member since the end of 2004. I have created this website and host it myself, as a tribute to the veterans of 47 Commando, and to all other members of the association!

On 27 March 2010, I have been accepted as new committee member, in my role as webmaster of this website, which is meant to honour the veterans of 47 Royal Marine Commando, and give anybody who is interested the opportunity to get a better view of their history.

I wish to thank all the veterans of 47 Royal Marine Commando, their wives, relatives and friends, for welcoming me as a member of the association, and Maj. Bob Perry and 1 Assault Group Royal Marines for honoring me with this plaque.
